Hello everyone,
I wanted to thank all of you for your support. I have been going through a difficult time, personally, lately and it's made such a difference. I am so grateful to Strictly and all of you - it has been simply wonderful.
When I left the US to come to London to take part in Strictly, I split with my boyfriend of several years. This was my decision and anyone who has ended a relationship knows how sad it is. Unfortunately, he has chosen to go to the British press and discuss details of our private life together and other things that are simply not true. This has been very hurtful to me.
I want you all to know that no matter what is being said about me in the press, I am still the same person you got to know on this series' Strictly. Your continued support and friendship means the world to me, especially during this difficult time.
Thank you,
-Kristina

Having been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, I know the pain/anger/disappointment that you will be going through. The actions of your ex just underline that you made the right decision! You are way too good for him! Don't worry about losing the support you have worked so hard for, that won't happen. Thinking of you at this difficult time, Michelle x
Kristina, I hope that this shameful intrusion into your life doesn't upset you too much. The press here in the UK have no sense or decency. You have come across as a person of real warm and integrity and anyone who has watched Strictly will support you and wish you well. I'm so glad you were a part of this year's show - your dancing is amazing and inspiring. I hope that you have a fabulous time on the tour and come back for next series to delight as us all. Have a great Christmas and best wishes for 2009 xx
Sorry to hear of the tough time you are having; all I can say is you obviously made the right, albeit difficult decision to leave. Been there, done it, in very similar circumstances with same accusations flying around (how my finger prints got on his Mercedes SLK I will never know...) but you will survive and retain the support of the British public. It's not how far you fall, it's how well you bounce! You go girl and leave the low life in the past where he belongs.M x
Dear Kristina
Sorry to hear you have had such a tough time. I think 99% of the British public realise that most of what the newspapers print is rubbish but it must be upsetting for you.
Your kind nature was plain to see on SCD. Stay strong!

You are just a real star. Be strong.
Kristina Hi
In my opinion to interact with your fans in such a positive and personal way, to bring happiness, warmth and love into people's lives and to be so protective and supportive towards John while going through a period of unhappiness and instability in your personal life really does make you a truly remarkable and selfless young woman. John spoke of your courage and how right he was. If anything I now respect and admire you even more. You have come out of this with your dignity and integrity intact which is more than can be said for some.
I left you a message on your 'A Little Something' entry which shows the positive effect you have had on my life.
Wishing you a happy christmas and a peaceful 2009, I for one would love to see you back next year Traceyx
Kristina, just saw the article in one of the tabloids - I wouldn't worry about it. People can make up their own minds and we all know the standard of journalism in the tabloids.
Also nice to see you rise above it instead of launching a counter attack in another tabloid.
As I say, don't worry about it if you can. And have a great Christmas... :)
hi kristina,so sad you are upset and hurt by recent events, unconditional support for you is best expressed by lyrics on "sky blue and black"by jackson browne,
kind regards patrick,
Hi Kristina,
Just wanted to echo everyone else's thoughts. Please don't let this press intrusion put you off returning. The British press love building people up only to bring them tumbling back down. This won't change how we all think of you and we are all desperate for you to return next year! Who cares if you broke up with your boyfriend? That is your personal business and has nothing to do with your dancing, your appearances on the show or your patient, kind nature. We have all had break ups, it doesn't make us bad people.
Thinking of you,
Anna x
Your photographs cannot be accessed on your web page any more; there is no limit to the petty depths some will stoop! Hope you have access or copies, or are indeed the one editing them but I suspect it's a server issue - never rely on a partners server again! Look on the bright side, while you're touring and knackered after the show,it will give you something to do! Oh the joys, hope you have your own accounts, unlike me at the time, trying to buy petrol when your account has been emptied of cash by my now ex! I survived, and now laugh about it, you will too, eventually!
Michelle
Many people know that there are lies, damned lies and tacky newspaper exclusives. The Daily Mirror has about as much integrity over her as the National Enquirer so don't worry.
I'm sorry that you have endure this and hopefully you'll find someone very special who will appreciate you. You have impressed many people this year on Strictly with your warmth and talent (both as a dancer and choreographer) and we hope that such things will not stop you returning to our screens again next year.
Kristina, please know that anyone who has been following you and your career would never give any thought to any stories that many be written about you. I have not seen anything myself thankfully, and I will not be giving them any attention if I do. I'm shocked that someone who meant so much to you would do this to you. But as others have said, it proves you made the right decision moving on!
On a positive note, hope you have a great time on tour in the new year. I only wish I could go (I'm in Ireland, so it was not so straight forward :( - Hopefully next time!) ...Merry Christmas, Dara :)
I read that article from beginning to end and when I finished it, I laughed out loud - no one who has ever seen you, whether it has been on a personal level or simply just TV interviews could possible ever believe the rubbish that was said. It's wholly daft, but hopefully you can rise above it and have happy holidays :-)
Who cares what the gutter press print. No one believes anything they say.
Best wishes.
David
