Hello everyone, what an exciting day, so I really wanted to write on my blog as soon as possible to share it all with you! Today was a big day for Joe as a new footbridge has been named after him in Newbridge... Joe was there with his dad Enzo to see this very special occassion and it was such an honour to be a part of this. So many people turned out to watch and it was so amazing to see the support that people were giving Joe, he truly is a national treasure.
The fun did not stop there, as I went to the Gym with Joe and his dad and watched him box! It was so incredible as I have never seen live boxing before so it was such an experience. It was very fast and left me speechless. It was great to be able to see Joe in his comfort zone, as I have read so much about his career and It was very inspirational to watch him. I can see how he is very quick on his feet!
Even with all the excitement of today, there is still time for dancing! As tomorrow we will be busy practicing again, only one more week to go! Practice, practice practice!!
