I hope you are all enjoying the festive season! I cannot believe it is Christmas time already, but I love this time of the year....
So only 2 more weekends left of Strictly, and then series 7 will be over which I am sad to say. I have really enjoyed it, even though Joe and I were knocked out in week 5 I have had such a good time in the group dances, and everyone has been great to work with. I thought the standard this past weekend was excellent. They have come along way since week one, and I am sure the final is going to be close, as there is not a clear winner. Everyone has worked so hard and all deserve to finish at the top. As we know there can only be one winner so not long to go until we find out who will be the 2009 champion couple!
Once the show finishes, there is only a couple of weeks to go until the 2010 tour begins. We will be once again going all round the country, which I am looking forward to. As I said before I love travelling all over the UK and seeing all the different places, there are some beautiful cities, and everyone is so welcoming. I am pleased to say this year I will be partnering Mark Ramprakash the champion of 2006. I was not on the show when Mark won, but I know he danced so well with Karen, in particular with the Ballroom and Latin dances. It will be an honour to partner him! We were on the Weakest Link together last Christmas so we have met before and I look forward to dancing with him soon. After the New Year we will be straight into rehearsals, but there will atleast be some rest time before.
Over the past week I have been to a few events. Ed Hardy recently launched a London Store in the Westfield shopping centre. I went along to this, and they have some great clothing so I am glad to see they have opened a store up here in London. I was also a guest at the Industry awards hosted by Piers Morgan. It was held at the lovely Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Knightsbridge. Again I had a good time and thought Piers was excellent. Last night I went to see a West End play called ' Inherit the Wind'. This is the play Kevin Spacey is in, and I was lucky enough to meet him at the showbiz awards last month. He invited Joe and I along to see his play. I am a massive fan of him and I have been since I was younger so It was great to see him live. I really do recommend the play which was written in the 1960s, I dont want to give too much of the plot away incase you go and watch. It is at the Old Vic theatre for another 10 days I think, so still time to go!
The last week or so has been busy, as I also launched the Glo Mineral make up ranch! ( as seen in the picure above) Their make up really does what is says, and leaves your complexion with a healthy glow. Its also makes your skin feel fresh and does not feel heavy at all, so I have been wearing it recently, a great stocking filler to!
For Christmas I will be going to LA again to see my mom. Really looking forward to going home, and spending time with my family. I do not get to see my mom alot so happy to be heading back. For the first time I will be in the UK for New Year! I hear there are some good celebrations so cant wait to step into 2010 here!
Lots of rehearsing going on this week still, and I will be heading to the British Fashion Awards on Wednesday night. Once again thank you for all your kind messages, I really love talking to you all and hope to meet lots of you on tour soon!
Take Care, and I will be in touch again really soon.

p.s I wanted to let you all know that It Takes Two did a feature on my dancing career. Unfortunately they put it out at the last minute, so I did not have a chance to post it. You can see it on the BBC I Player, episode 55. There were lots of photos from me as a girl, and the story of my dancing life. You will recognise alot of the photos from my web!
