Hi everyone,
What a busy few days! It was good to spend a week in London, and be home for a bit and I loved every minute of the shows at Wembley and the O2. The atmospheres were incredible and you have all been such amazing audiences, not just in London but everywhere. I know I keep saying it, but I am so grateful for all your votes. Mark and I are so happy to have won some of the shows, and its been such a great pleasure and honour to perform for you all. I just want to say that Mark has been a wonderful dance partner. He is such a great guy, and a very talented dancer! All of us are having such a good time on tour, and I think you will agree that the standard of the celeb dancing has been fantastic. Thank you all so so much!!
After London there was no spare time, as we had 2 more shows in Nottingham. Whilst I was in Nottingham, I was invited to the Leicester and Rutland Air Ambulance Service, for a new appeal they are launching. The Air Ambulance is a voluntary funded service with Doctors and Paramedics using a helicopter to deliver emergency care to patients. The aim of the appeal is to raise £ 750,000 for a new purpose built airbase. I really hope they raise the funds, as it is relied on so much and the work they do is incredible. I was lucky enough to see them in action, and I was blown away. I cannot believe they do not receive any funding, hopefully this may change in the future. I have included some photos from the day in my album, which you can see on the link below.
Yesterday was a day off, so I spent a day in London catching up with a few friends, and it was a good time to have a bit of pampering and relaxation time before coming up to Glasgow today. I was warned it might be cold, and it certainly is so I shall be wrapping up warm. We are here until early next week, before heading over to Ireland!
As promised in my last blog, and mentioned above here is the link for some more recent photos. I also have a funny video to share with you, which I am going to upload asap. So watch this space...
I must go as not long to go before our first Glasgow show!
Speak to you all soon
